The Bridgeport Fittings 412-DC2 1-1/4-Inch Squeeze Connector is a straight, non-insulated, squeeze installation. It is made with die cast, ball burnished, mirror smooth zinc. It has a trade size of 1-1/4-Inch, a length of 2-Inch and a knockout size of 1-1/4-Inch. It has a single cable opening and a flex metal conduit. CSA approval UL 514B. Bridgeport Fittings, Inc. was founded by Adelbert R. Auray and Neil G. Hayes in 1925 as The Bridgeport Switch Company. Initially, the product line consisted of electrical switches, bells, buzzers, wall switches and receptacles. The company shifted manufacturing direction in 1936, when it was decided to emphasize conduit and cable fittings for the electrical industry. Malleable iron, steel, aluminum and brass fittings replaced the original residential electrical components. Later, in 1948, the company changed its name to Bridgeport Fittings, Inc.
